Steadi Facilities Ltd is owned by Jason Torbitt - a Steadicam and Jimmy Jib Owner-Operator, Lighting Cameraman and Camera Operator. We are a camera support and crewing company, specialising in Steadicam, Jimmy Jib and RF Cameras for Television, Film, Live Events and Corporate, with bases in Manchester and London, UK.
With over 7 years of experience in the industry, Jason has steadily built up a reputation for his high quality of work, stamina, enthusiasm and professionalism. Jason works throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide. He has worked in most European countries, and is well experienced travelling and flying with equipment. Owner of two Steadicam rigs, a Jimmy Jib kit, two RF Camera Links and extensive camera support and accessory kit, Jason works across all genres of Television, Film and Corporate production, on a variety of formats including Broadcast, Film, HD, 3D, Digital and Tape.
Steadi Facilities Ltd's operations are co-ordinated from the Office, including Jason's skills and equipment and a Dry Hire service. Steadi Facilities Cameras & Vision supplies full crewing and technical camera solutions, including Equipment and Facilities - this includes PPU and multi-camera, RF Cameras, Steadicam, Jimmy Jib and Special Cameras & Support, including our all-new Steadi Tracker solutions - the Steadicam Motorbike and Steadicam Segway. We also offer Steadicam Quad Bike solutions.
Since 2003, Jason has accumulated a vast number of credits which are wide ranging across all genres - he is fortunate enough to have solid experience of working on vastly differing types of production, which whilst similar in many ways, are entirely different disciplines. Jason has worked across Feature Films, Shorts, Music Promos, Drama, Outside Broadcasts, Studio, Live Events, Television Series, Commercials, Music Concerts, News, Sport, Soaps, Comedy, Virals, Documentary and the Corporate sector.
Steadi Facilities Ltd has gone on in recent years to gain notable credits, including recently athletics work for England Athletics, including Steadicam, Jimmy Jibs, multicamera PPU, minicams, RF links, audio links, graphics, on-site edit facilities and encoding/uploading.
With this broad range of productions comes a wealth of experience with huge amounts of camera equipment. Jason works across all camera formats; broadcast, film, HD / Digital, 3D, tape and solid state. As a Steadicam Operator, Jason regularly works with fully-loaded HD / P2 / RED / Alexa / HDCAM / CineAlta drama packages. Film work on 35mm or 16mm sees Jason working with ARRI, Aaton and Panavision camera packages on a regular basis. As a Broadcast Lighting Cameraman and PSC Camera Operator, Jason works with video cameras, such as DigiBeta, XDCAM, DVCAM and DVCPRO kits on a frequent basis. As a Multicamera / OB Camera Operator, he also works with systems cameras frequently, both in cabled (triax/fiber-CCU) mode, and radio camera mode (RF links-CCU).
Jason believes in delivering high quality production standards and always strives to produce nothing but the best possible results no matter how challenging the environment. He has a reputation as being a committed, adaptable and dedicated member of the crew. Whether working on location, operating under pressure for long periods of time, and working within both large and smaller crews, Jason fits in well. His ability to work well under direction, frame up quickly, offer useful shots and think on his feet provides directors with high quality results, whatever the production, whatever the location.
